ALBERT SHASHOUA FINE ART

I have been living in a world of art, photography and images since my teens in London England. I work with both black and white and color, oils and acrylics, my aim has been to capture an image with the essence of life and feeling represented in the image and from the image to the viewer’s experience. I aim to recreate these images through paintings and giclee prints releasing the feel of color and mood that can be shared in my art. I use handwork plus some computer manipulations of my images during its creative process. The object is that the viewer is wrapped in the experience with the visual image when looking at it, ‘wrapped in the nature scene or other image and can feel a part of its captured essence and atmosphere’ as I like to think of my art. I attempt to create the imagery using the simplicity of the Arts and Crafts look through my processes. I feel that the Arts and Crafts simplicity has the ability to keep looking fresh each time one sees a work of art in a new light.

The subjects I capture in my art are varied and I have a special yearning for the beauty of nature and see it as a kaleidoscope of ever changing imagery that is captivating and alluring in its fine beauty.

I reproduce my work from originals as open and limited editions on canvas and art paper prints done in fine giclee rendition. Hopefully my work will be much sought after once one finds my venue and will have a growing following.
